Deadline approaching, Act NOW!!
AANP Utah State Award for Excellence
Nominations Close October 24
Nominate a deserving NP and/or NP Advocate for the prestigious AANP State Award for Excellence. Founded in 1991, the State Award for NP Excellence recognizes an NP in each state in the country who demonstrates excellence in clinical practice. In 1993, the State Award for NP Advocate was added to recognize the efforts of individuals who have made a significant contribution toward increasing the awareness and acceptance of NPs. NPs are also eligible for the advocate award for non-clinical practice initiatives related to leadership, policy, politics, research, education or community affairs. You do not have to be a member of AANP to nominate someone nor does the person nominated need to be an AANP member. Nominations must be received by October 24, 2011 to be considered for the 2012 awards.
Please look at yourself and your Utah colleagues and consider nominating a deserving Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Practitioner Advocate for these prestigious awards. I know Utah has some incredible candidates and I can’t wait to read the nomination letters. Please contact me with any questions. Don’t let this opportunity pass, nominate someone today. Thank you.
