During the 2014 legislative session, Utah Nurse Practitioners (UNP) will work with other state APRN organizations to remove the unnecessary and outdated restrictions on nursing practice by eliminating the requirement for the consultation and referral plan.
The bill sponsor was confirmed today, Representative Paul Ray will introduce our legislation during this session. He represents the 13th district which covers North West Davis County and serves on the following committees:
Judiciary Health and Human Services (Chairman) Executive Offices and Criminal Justice Appropriations Veterans Reintegration Taskforce (Chairman) USAAV
Utah Nurse Practitioners and the Utah Association of Nurse Anesthetists will host a fundraiser on the behalf of Representative Kay J. Christofferson on Thursday, January 23, 2014 who is a strong supporter of our bill.
