UNP Board Nominations- We Need You!

To all our wonderful Utah NPs- we need you! We will have 3 board positions open for nominations in September- President-Elect, Secretary, and Tech Liaison. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve your NP community, promote the NP role, network, and make great friends! Please consider nominating someone you know or yourself- self-nominations are welcome and encouraged. Nominations will open the first week of September. Role descriptions:

• President-Elect: The President-Elect position is part of a 4-year track that includes the first year as President-Elect, shadowing and working with the President in all organizational affairs. When they have completed their 1 year tenure, they will become the Acting President for 2 years and the Immediate Past President for the last year, working with the 2nd year President to help with any presidential duties and training so they can work independently by the 3rd year.
• Secretary: 2 year term. The Secretary is responsible for all meeting minutes, documentation, and distribution via email, including website update of recent meeting minutes. In addition, the Secretary shall be a voting member of the Board.
• Tech Liaison: 2 year term. The Technology Officer/Liaison is responsible for monitoring and developing the UNP website, including social media accounts. They will be responsible for keeping account identifiers for use by other board members as directed or needed. They will also work on behalf of UNP with Google Ads and other pertinent programs.
