CALL FOR NOMINATIONS!

Dear Colleague and Nurse Practitioner,

Nominations are now open for the UNP Board of Directors seats and certain committee seats (click on the link to begin)! Open seats are listed below. Members may nominate and run for these roles. You can become a member HERE.

Utah Nurse Practitioners Association is holding a special election to fill Board seats necessary to continue to run the organization after term limits have expired for certain seats. Please consider nominating yourself or another NP for these roles. Most Board roles require less than 2-4 hours/month for 2-4 years if desired. We are looking for people who will commit to Board activity, not just to fill a seat. See the Bylaws here

So many of Utah's NPs are gifted, talented, and want to help our profession remain stable in our current healthcare climate. Now is the time to add a leadership role to your CV, to give back the investment others gave to you throughout school and practice, and to improve NP practice in Utah.

Nominations take an average of less than 5". All you have to do is express your interest. Ballots will come out with vetted nominees listed within 4 weeks and will also include proposed Bylaws changes. Nominations will be open until 1150 PM on February 1st, 2024.

Happy New Year Everyone! We hope to see you at the UNP Day at the Capitol on January 26th (Friday) starting at 11 am in the Hall of Governors (on first floor UNDER the Rotunda).
