New Legislative Co-Chairs!

Posted almost 4 years ago by Melissa J Hinton

I would like to introduce our new legislative Co-Chairs, Julie Balk and Lee Moss. Julie has recently served as our AANP Representative for Utah and teaches at Westminster, and Lee is now a retired-full-time legislative Guru. He has also been an AANP Rep for Utah and as I'm sure you are all aware, they are both incredible practitioners and are well-respected in their careers and on Capitol Hill. We are so excited to have them step in as we ramp up our efforts for full-practice authority in Utah for 2021.

Now is a perfect time to hop over (to the left) to the LEGISLATION TAB to view their Bio's and get acquainted with LEGISLATIVE INFO FOR UTAH NPs. We really do need you!

UNP would like to thank Dr. Beth Luthy and congratulate her on her new promotion as Assistant Dean of the College of Nursing at BYU. She has diligently served as the Legislative Chair for 4 years and has had ground-breaking success in all that she has done. Beth has established some incredible and supportive relationships in both the House and the Senate which has been vital to moving our practice forward. If you cross her path or have met her, please thank her personally for her efforts. She will truly be missed. We are fortunate to have her remain a committee member though!

Welcome and many thanks!
