The UNP Legislative Committee needs your help. Utah Nurse Practitioners was invited to do a presentation for the Utah Legislative Health Care Reform Task Force on Friday, September 28th (that's this Friday) at 1:00pm. The meeting will be held in House Building Room #30 (in the basement). We plan to discuss the Worker's Compensation Fund Language in the Nurse Practice Act and the Consultation and Referral Agreement.
If there is ANY way you can encourage your UNP collegues to attend, that would be SUPER helpful. We will have buttons available that say "We Are UNP." We'd like for you (and your other UNP collegues) to wear a button during the meeting to show that WE ARE UNITED.
This is just the very beginning of what we anticipate as being a busy and important legislative year for UNP.
