Local and national experts will in part donate their time to host an educational symposium to mitigate a knowledge gap and facilitate dialogue on practical application of best practices in our community.  The long-term effects of trauma across the life span cannot be overestimated, often  resulting in poor physical and mental health, addiction, and under-achievement.

This free symposium represents a community-driven effort to educate and empower:

  • Attorneys and judges
  • Legislators and policy makers
  • Law enforcement officers
  • School officials and educators
  • Clinicians and medical professionals
  • State and County officials

Our goal is  to intervene in the long-term, negative impact of violence, abuse, and resulting trauma. The event will consist of morning lectures by nationally-recognized experts, followed by afternoon interactive sessions focused on applying these lessons to everyday practice and collaborative relationships.
