Full Job Description

OnSite Health is seeking an exceptional independent Nurse Practitioner to join our team, providing customized employee health, safety, and well-being, services to our outstanding manufacturing client in Ogden Utah. This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone to work independently, with OnSite Health’s support, to build the clinic and employee relationships from the ground up. The initial number of hours required are 24, potentially moving to 40 as utilization of the clinic increases.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Work independently, assessing and identifying individuals with high risk factors that can lead to acute or chronic health conditions.
  • Able to provide acute care, triage injuries, first aid, and treatment of illness with ability to transition into a primary care role, supporting employees and their families.
  • Support EHS department as appropriate.
  • Collaboration between departments with regard to management of work-related injury or illness, short term disability, return to work, etc..
  • Maintain documentation related to work related injury or illness, short term disability, return to work, workers’ compensation, etc..
  • Assist employees with company sponsored health programs as requested.
  • Assist appropriate staff with health-related vendor coordination.
  • Assist EHS team with reportable metrics: Injury Rates, First Aids, Osha Recordables, Lost Time, etc..
  • Work in compliance with HIPPA laws to ensure client confidentiality and adhere and function within the scope of practice of your license defined by the state regulatory board as well as maintain your current DEA license.
  • Document services provided to client, and report to Onsite Health administration for the purposes of creating reports, budgets, expenses, and invoices.
  • Perform other related nursing tasks as required by client

Education and Credentials

  • NP required; must have an active, unrestricted license to practice independently in Utah and hold current DEA license.
  • One full years' experience working as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Occupational Health and/or Family practice medicine experience preferred.
  • Current BLS CPR Certification; Instructor Certification is desired.
  • Familiarity with PC use and commonly used software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. EMR/Practice Management software familiarity is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions to employees while being respectful, professional, and courteous.

Schedule

Initial schedule will be 3 days a week (no weekends), 8 hours a day. When clinic transitions to primary care, schedule will be 5 days a week (no weekends), 8 hours a day.
