Additional Information

You're invited to the Utah Cancer Genomics Retreat: BRCA1/2 and Lynch Syndrome on June 19th and 20th, at Double Tree Hotel at Salt Lake City Airport. The retreat runs for a day and a half and consists of lectures, activities, and case discussions surrounding hereditary cancer syndromes. This no-cost educational retreat includes meals, CME/CEU credits, and has available travel sponsorships to cover transportation and lodging for those driving from more than 50 miles away.

Genomics is a growing field, constantly evolving to provide better health care for our patients. Similarly, advances in cancer genomics provide increased opportunity for prevention and/or early detection of many common cancers, including breast and colon cancer. The Utah Cancer Genomics Project is looking for interested clinicians to join us in expanding the role of genomics in improving Utahns' health!

Please see the attached document for more information on topics covered at the retreat or visit http://cancerutah.org/genomicseducation/, and contact Kristi Smith at kwilcoxson@utah.gov or (801) 538-6190 to register!

We look forward to seeing you June 19th-20th in Salt Lake City!
